How to Clean Computer Registry

My first experience with a slow computer was very frustrating, I used to download a lot a software since it was freeware, not knowing it contained spyware.

Whenever I opened a browser or a program, it would freeze for up to 5 minutes. It took about 15 minutes to start the computer and 10 mines just to shut down. I tried a full scan with a Norton antivirus and window defender but it didn’t fix the problem.

As time went by my computer got worst, it would just freeze forever and sometimes the blue screen appeared and it would reboot by itself, I called my local laptop repair shop and they were charging me $200 to fix the problem and I couldn’t afford it so I went to yahoo answers and searched for some advice. I got some good advice.

Someone said the best way to fix this problem is to uninstall all the software you downloaded before the problem occurred, which I did but the problem was still there. Other advice I got is to buy a new hard drive, it might be a hard drive problem. The advice that I almost consider is "just save your money, and buy a new computer, it will save you a headache".

I ended up fixing the problem by just whipping out my whole hard drive and installing a fresh copy of Microsoft windows vista, of course I had save all of my files on a one gigabyte flash drive. Once everything was re-installed, it was a fresh as new, it was really good relief. From this experience, I’m cautious on what download on the internet, since this incident I bought a Norton internet security and a registry cleaner software. I paid regular price for it, but it worth the pain and headache when it comes to this problem, and I know I did.
